Be not weary!

I knew as soon as Daniel walked out of school he was tired..or had gotten in trouble. I almost hoped for "getting in trouble" over being "tired" because he rebounds faster. ( isn't that awful?) David's mom was coming to town to hear Daniel in a school programs honoring grandparents and we had to be at school at 7:00 p.m. He has "mini meltdowns" off and own, but thank the Lord he managed to hold it together till his class performed . He sat down and it was on...grumpy, squirmy, etc. etc. ( not that Sean was better). So finally my nerves and I'm sure the folks around us couldn't take it anymore and we visited the restroom. He cried and as used it, he cried as we walked down the hall...so we sat in the foyer for a while. The children's part was over and they have several people speaking which was fine..but Daniel was done for the day at 3:00....and he was for sure done now. So, we opted to leave before it was all over and come home so he could unwind, see "Yangy" and then get ready for bed. I so wanted David and his mom to meet some of the other parents and teachers, but I knew it was a train wreck ready to happen. I kept thinking Daniel is so weary and I was getting to that point.

I hope he wakes up refreshed...I'm trying to get a new perspective. Yangy ( grandma walker) is going to eat lunch with us at Daniel's school so she'll still get to see his teachers etc. and the end result will be the same...if we all don't "faint" before the day is over!
