Farm Daze/Corn Maze

Yesterday was field trip day with Daniel's class. What fun! well it was after we got started.
I was to follow the bus with about 15 other cars. Wouldn't you know that the bus went through 3 Johnson City lights before I could get through 1?? I lost that bus...and found myself on the cell phone trying to find my way to Fender's farm...what a drive! I had no idea where I was going. Anyway, all was well and I barely got there in time to catch the hay ride. The farm is laid out well and the kids enjoyed the hay ride, seeing the animals, going through the maze and picking out a pumpkin and a gourd to decorate. Daniel got to use a machine that you crank by hand and it take the kernels off the corn. He thought that was cool! The kids took a ride in homemade train made out of barrels and then got to play on the play ground and eat lunch. All in all a fun little day. I had taken Sean to Amy Teague's house so he could ride to Halftime school at church. Daniel and I picked him up and then we scooted on home to wait for David to come home from Knoxville.

I tell David we are boring. One of these days we'll have to take in a UT GAME or do something out of the ordinary!!!!!!
