Wild West

That's right...I've been to the Wild West this week...well, not actually to the west, but at church. The Women's ministry sponsored a cooking school with Chef Marcus Blackstone who goes to our church. Nice dinner in the Gym, the men served the women and then upstairs to enjoy a skit and the cooking demo. I was in the in the skit. I wrote the skit. It was not my best skit. But we enjoyed doing it and the whole evening was good.

The kids were so tired on Tues. I think we drag them too much sometimes. Tonight is AWANA and again the events of the week and events of school have slowed down our AWANA verse progress. I'm not pushing them this week...we'll do what we can. I had a full day at Halftime working on Tues. and then the cat had to go to the vet. Today I'm up for the chiropractor at yes 6:00 and then I run Daniel to school . If I don't sub today at the Christian school then I'm napping...I sure need one.

I colord my own hair last night....hmmm...I never like it when I first do it, but it's better than the gray. Now I just need a good cut and we'll see!!!!

Talked to mom last night. My brother is at the outer banks fishing. She sounded pretty good, but had to tell me about her neighbor passing away. I hate than my mother lives alone....I know I'm not a bad daughter, and marriage moved me out of state before my dad died, but still...sigh....if you read this blog and think of it, pray for my mom, for peace in all things too.
