Hump Day

When I taught in NC the second grade teacher, Mrs. Bunton, always used to say "it's hump day" when Wednesday came. Well, it's "hump day".

Today is chapel day at school. My second graders will lead chapel today...hope that goes well since I didn't tell them yesterday. They'll do pledges, sing songs and say a bible verse.

I am tired. I had forgotten about paper grading. I try to do alot at school. Last night I came home to stuff folders and then try to find some time with my boys. We didn't get home till after 4:30 because a parent came by and then with supper and baths I had about 30 minutes with them. AWANA is tonight..starts back from Dec. break. I hope this isn't too much for Sean...we'll see how he does. He might fool me. When the kids go to bed at 8:00 and we don't get home till going on 5:00 that's not much family time. I'm sure it will all play out ok.

We got word that Sunday a lady from our church in Norton died. She was in rehab in Knoxville. I called her Friday or Saturday and she was with the doctor. She sounded ok and I told her I'd call back at a better time. Sunday morning she signed a do not resucitate and by the afternoon she was gone. Her services are tonight in VA.
