Sooooooooooo far behind!

Got a gentle nudge from my friend ANN so I'm back on. I don't know where to pick up! The holidays were good but busy. David up and asked me if I was willing to see if his parents would keep the boys overnight so we could have a night away....I've never left either of them overnight except for Daniel once..and that was the night Sean was born. He talked me into it and his mother came on Friday, Dec. 21 to pick them up about noon. The kids were excited and did well. David and I went o Pigeon Forge and stayed in the same hotel we did on our honeymoon. We spent part of Friday and Saturday at Dollywood and just looked around pigeon forge. It was fun.

On Saturday we headed to Norton ,VA to pick up the kids and have Christmas with David's parent's and his brother and his family. Sunday morning we let our kids have their Christmas here... we are on the road so much that they don't get to have a real Christmas here to play with their toys. Sean loved his "green" kitchen and Daniel had a few favorites as well. Sunday we left around 1:00 for NC. This year I got to see alot of my family. My brother usually meets with his daughters and their kids a few days before Christmas. Usually we don't come to NC till Christmas Day. Last year we went Christmas Eve. Since the 23 fell on a Sunday and they were meeting that day we were able to come in an eat supper and exchange gifts with all of them this year. Christmas Eve we took my mother to my second cousins for a Christmas dinner for her side of the family. Christmas day we went to eat lunch with my Aunt Martha, dad's sister. We left around 6:00 to come back to Johnson City. We were tired. David had the next day off and that helped.

New years wasn't too exciting. I must be getting old! I could barely stay awake till 12:00!

Wed. of this week school started back. I went back with the kids and am filling in for the second grade teacher for 6 weeks. Baby Rosemary is doing fine and Mrs. Webster is recovering from an emergency c-section. I'm adjusting to going back to work. Sean has done great in his new environment.....and his longer schedule.

Hope you all had a good Christmas!

Hey Luann! It sounds like your Christmas was busier than mine. Sweet of your hubby to get you two away for a night. The only reason I was able to stay up on New Year's was b/c I got myself full of caffiene! LOL
