I'm a Planner

I'm a planner in some aspects. David's birthday is today...he's 38. We got a cake to cut last night since we'll be leaving for NC after her gets off work. We ate at Texas Roadhouse last night, but can you really call it a birthday dinner if the birthday person pays for it??? ha! So I had in mind the kids and I would take him to lunch today. I could tell he was sort of mulling that over....like he already had plans. He said he thought some guys and work had something up. I'm really ok with that, but my little planner's brain had already thought about this lunch thing. I reluctantly told him to go ahead and eat with Taylor after going on and on about how dissaponted we were. Then he says plans changed and Taylor wanted to postpone till Monday. Now I'm about out of the mood..how fickle is that on my part? I think the fun was lost in all the plans not working out and now when they work out the element of "fun" is gone. I know..go back to bed.....don't even know why I blogged this one! haha!!
