I Love Family Time!

Today was a nice day for our family. We got up at hit a few yard sale. Did I tell you I LUV a good yard sale? WE came home, grabbed a bit of lunch and then went to the movies to see WALL-e. It was cute. We drove to Blountville to take advantage of $4.00 movie tickets and $1.00 popcorn and $1.00 drinks. Can't beat $22.00 for a family day out.

What is your favorite thing to do as a family? Leave me a comment...I'd love to hear from some of you.

Hey Kellie..........you out there in blogging land?????? If so, I found the cutest dress at a yard sale that I think is the cutest thing for Ms. Elizabeth...but I'm going to make you leave a comment before I surrender the dress!! ha! I don't know why I buy "girl" things..but sometimes I just
can't help it.

This fall I'm going to do a "Train" theme in my classroom. Sometime back we purchased the huge container of cheese puffs for Daniel to share at school and a few other places. WE finally finished those addicting things and I turned the container into a "treat jug" for school. I printed out a sign for the front that says " CHOO CHOO CHOOse a Treat!" Cute if I do say so myself.

The jewelry making night was fun at church Thursday. I bought a few tools today so I could make a few more at home. I have a feeling I'll make more earrings than anything else. I kind of have a fetish with earrings.

Friday night I participated in a drama workshop at our church. I don't know when I've laughed so hard in a long time. We were in the sanctuary doing some crazy ice breaker games and activities. I just knew a visitors was going to stop in and think we were one of those churches that has the uncontrollable laughter...you know what I'm talking about? You just had to be there to understand. I looked at Preston, our worship Pastor and said " I hope no visitors happen in here"! He laughed.

I have so many unfinished projects at my house. A pile of clean laundry half folded, a sink of dishes to wash, a play room that looks like it threw up on itself, a living room that has a corner full of teaching supplies, and a van that need some TLC when it comes to being cleaned out. Sigh...ever get overwhelmed with projects and just not get to any of them?

Tomorrow is my day to man ( or woman) the sign up table for the Beth Moore Simulcast. I'm looking forward to the event.

I pray you have a wonderful Lord's day tomorrow.

Blessings!
