Whew....school let out at 11:30 today. I had to take my kids to meet my mother in law. Bless her heart, she drove over from VA to get them to spend the night with her. We ate lunch with her at Golden Corral and then she took them on their way. David has a business dinner tonight. I went back to school and changed out my Christmas bulletin boards to something more "Januaryish". Is that a word? I came home to a very quiet house. Kind of sad. I know they are in good hands, but I miss them already. Tomorrow we go to VA to have our Christmas with David's parents and his brother and his family.
I couldn't believe the headlines today.....some of the remains of little Caylee Anthony were found. Sick. Who could do that to a young child? That has to be part of what scripture was talking about ..."without natural affection"....I know that can mean many things..but what is natural about slaughtering a young child, especially if the mother is involved or responsible. I guess only heave knows.
At school we have posted a flyer about a lady in our area that is wanted for trying to enter schools and day cares to kidnap children. Again, I have a sick feeling about that. Our children's director at church sent the same flyer to our homes. Appears the lady has tried to do her devilishness at a church near ours but fled when the Pastor of that church approached her. God help us.
On the way home from AWANA Sean asked me about "sin" and why Jesus died. He asked me "what the bad place was" . We had a good conversation. I told David a while back I so hoped they made decision for the Lord when they are young. My boys sure are thinking and pondering. I applaud those at AWANA and Sunday School who work along with us to train our children in the ways of the Lord.
I'm not sure I'll reach my 40 pound goal this month.....all these get together are killing me! I have learned to make better choices at these gatherings, but he pizza party at school was so tempting......I had a 1 point Progresso soup for supper that night. It would be so much easier if the rest of the world would just do weight watchers with me and then I wouldn't have all these temptations.
A note to Eddie from Georgia: Pigeon Forge is wonderful this time of year and Dolly sends her love and best wishes.
More later.............

Hi LuAnn:
It HAS been awhile since we blogged on each other's blog. I'm sorry. I wasn't ignoring you, I just didn't have a lot to say. I have been visiting your blog regularly. I love the picture of the boys on the top of the page. You should leave that one there. I hope you and all "3" boys have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed and prosperous New Year.
You're one of my new friends since last Christmas and I'm glad we're friends. God bless.
