New Week

Yesterday we spent the day in Norton, Va where we used to live. David's parents live there and his brother Neil and Neil's family live in nearby Big Stone Gap. It's been a while since we were over there. We started out by going by his parent's house. She and I went to pick up some lunch at Captain D's and waited for Neil and his wife Beth to come by. They have a new baby...Connor...and I enjoy playing with him. We then decided to go to the Fall Fling in Wise...crafts, kids games, etc. Sean and I rode on a Fire Truck which was fun, and also on the kiddie train. After some Kettle Corn and misc. musings we headed to Tops and Bottoms to get some good deals on some CROCS for the kids. I love a good deal. We stopped and picked up a few Little Ceaser's pizzas and then went back to his parents. Neil and Beth came back by after Band Competition that John I Burton was in and then we loaded up and headed home. Church and Sunday school seemed to come early today. I thought the crowd was down in Sunday school a bit, but several where out on vacations. We stopped by Burger King for a quick lunch and then got the boys haircuts at Wal-mart and came home. My next project is to finalize my plans for the upcoming cooking school. I am praying about where my main focus should be at church again. We started over here and we are finding our places here....
Tomorrow Daniel head back to school and Sean and I have a preschool Fall Day at church..hayrides, pumpkins, etc. Should be a good time.
