Singing in the rain

One of those days....not a cloud in the sky and I heard their was a 100 percent chance of rain! Who would have thought...but boy the weather guys were right! I subbed in art at school today. I went to school to take Danie and ran some party money in to Sean's teacher. I came back home and hadn't been here 30 minutes when the school called needing a sub..sooooo...we headed back out the door. I had a book of paper plate animals so I sorted through it and did several different ones with the different age groups. We came home and the Wednesday mad house began...try to fix supper ( thank goodness I had started a roast early that morning) review AWANA verses, learn the verse for kindergarten to be said tomorrow, get a bath, dress the kids, get in the van, race to church and my Bible study, etc. etc. Coming out of Bible study I heard that folks weren't getting to leave due to the weather. After a while we left and boy did it rain all the way home....but the kids were in the back seat just singing away...that rain and busy day didn't bother them....oh to be more like my kids.

So after that I raced back to Big Lots for candy for treat bags and I assembled 27 treat bags and then got my kids into bed.....late of course....

I'm ready for bed too!
