Trip Down Memory Lane

My former roomate when I first stared teaching, Marilee Wilkinson. She came to visit us a few months after Daniel as born. This was taken in Norton, VA.
I think "first" photos of baby are always so comical. They look nothing like the baby does two or three days later. This was Daniel. This is Sean's! Angry looking isn't he??
I was single till I was 32. I had some of the best times in my life...good friend...we were all single here...all but one is married now. We were in our early 20's here...gulp...where does time go!?

The first photo is a repeat. The second is my first classroom in Januray of '89 ..fourth grade in Morganton NC..these were a few of my student...can't believe that was almost 19 years ago!

The last one is another shot of me and my friends on a picnic at Grandfather MTN.

The first photo is of my dad , his mom, me and my mother. My dad and my grandmother are both in Heaven.





This photo is of me and my Grandma Ketchie. She passed away 2 1/2 months after Daniel was born.

be one of three speak. I was to represent the years he was at our church and Christian School.

I worked several days this week. Tues I was in Second grade for a while and then in the office. Wednesday through Friday I was in the office working. Monday I work in second grade. We had planned to go to NC this weekend, but we opted to wait and go the weekend after Easter. We have a "date" today with Amy and Gabby ( Sean's little friend) to see "Horton Hears a Who" . Should be a fun little outing.





Been thinking about old times and old teaching days. I love meeting and making new friends, but I do miss the "old days" especially my old teaching buddies. I was thinking about family, too. Some still here and some gone....which prompted me to look through some old photos. I'm posting a few...........
