Today was a "play date" day. Before I started subbing at Daniel's school I used to work at my church in the "Half-time" program...a two day a week program that's more like a mother's day out program. I'll be working again their this summer. Today was a planned day....three of the girls I worked with brought their children and we met at Warrior Path State Park in Kingsport , TN and had a nice play date/picnic. My kids are dirty and tired, but satisfied and happy.
Here are a few pics of some of the crowd. Couldn't get them all still long enough to photograph everyone!
Well....announcement....drum roll pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....
I have officially accepted the K-5 position. Can I do it?? I'm certain I can, especially with the Lord's help. Is it my first choice??? Oh no my dear blogging friends. But I have a peace for some strange reason and the Lord never leads us where he doesn't go before us and pave the way, so I'm following. I pray I'll be an effective K-5 teacher and a happy joyful one too! Are you praying for me yet?????????? And by the way, NEVER tell the Lord you won't do something...I could give you a list ..........................
Blessings!

Congratulations! Now that the decision is made, the work begins....that's the part that stinks ;-)! hahaha
I have the Heath bars in the fridge! hope to see you tonight.
Of course, you can do it. You know you can too. I know it isn't your first choice, but, you have to remember, "It's all about Him".
If my kids were still young I would be very pleased if they had a caring teacher like you. Congrats!
I hope you enjoy your new position! Congrats! I like your attitude about it too.
