Here's my blog of randomness! ( is randomness a word??) Just dropped my oldesn't son off at school for carnival day. They earned it for reading a lot of books for the reading program. Sean is not so happy...we took his daddy to work and then had to come home. When I don't sub he doesn't go to school.....explain that to a 4 year old!! A few episodes of Curious George and he should fine.
I'm a little melancholy that we have three living grandparents and only one can be at K-5 graduation. Just the way it is....they all live out of state....we'll make the best of it. You just like to share your "moments" with those you love. I have the cutest K-5 graduate living at my house!
Our tree is gone! You can see our house now at least! I used to say that I loved the Bradford Pears but they blocked the view of our house. Not anymore they don't! That's the up side to this whole fiasco.....a better view of the house and from the house.
Reading in the news that California legalized same sex marriages and Ellen DeGeneres and her "partner" were going to tie the knot...Don't get me started. Even if it weren't for the same sex thing I have issues with Ms. DeGeneres, and Oprah, and Rosie....etc. I heard Mandisa say at the E-women conference that if Simon Cowell and Oprah ever came to know the Lord, look out world!!! Think of the platform Oprah has and who all she could reach if she only taught the "truth"!
I missed my chiropractors appt. this week... just plain forgot...that's bad for my back. I have a great chiropractor...really helps the old joints!!
Our church is hosting a Beth Moore Simulcast this fall. Should be a great event. I'm currently in the Breaking Free course by Beth Moore. This past week the subject of "having a form of Godliness but denying the power thereof" came up. Sobering thought...I don't want to be guilty of "saying the right things" without it being led by the spirit. You see so much on TV about "religion" and"God" but alot of it is not "of" God. People say " oh, they are so sincere" but you can be sincerely wrong. I shutter to think about all the people that have been led down the path of religion who never find the truth path that leads to a relationship with Him.
I worked at the secretary at school yesterday. Kind of enjoyed it. I mostly typed up end of the year awards. I have a new appreciation for school secretaries. I've always been in the classroom. You don't see what they really do. Good job, Janie Morelock! She's our school secretary. I though she would lose her mind when the school had a cookie dough fundraiser! What a job in that office over cookie dough!
It was rainy today, but it looks like it might be a nice day after all. I hope so for "Carnival Day" at Daniel's school. That's a big day in the life of a 5 year old.

That same sex marriage thing really made my blood boil also. I saw people hugging and acting so jubilant. If they only knew the truth and how they will pay for that.
On a lighter note, I like your house. It looks like you have a lot of room to move around and a lot of trees.
He LuAnn, I don't really have comments except I agree here, and here and there! LOL
Love ya!
oh yeah, and over there!
I understand how importanat it is for little ones to graduate out of K, my oldest grandson will in a few weeks and I live 1700 miles away and I can't be there, so I understand what you are talking about...
And for the same sex marriage all I will say is ~!@#$%^&*()_+}|?...
I hope you have a great weekend...

I enjoyed reading through your random thoughts - not so random, really reality! Seems I just sat down to visit with a friend. Yes- to the joy missed when not living in the truth.
