You Know You're 40 When...
the checker at the grocery calls you ma'am instead of miss
the reading glasses in the drug store don't look so dorky anymore
two words...sensible shoes
your handbag grows yearly - better to hold your reading glasses and sensible shoes
you raise the median age in your kickboxing class by your sheer presence
you hear a construction worker whistle at someone and don't even turn around to see if it was you


I'm 41 getting ready to teach again after a 5-6 year hiatus after having children. Lot's to muse about there.

I'm 41and I'd love one more kid...yes bethanne I'm for sure considered AMA ( Advanced Maternal Age for childbirth) but David is done. So, guess I am too!

I'm 41 and have a wonderful husband and two sweet boys. And to think I didn't get married till I was 32! Pretty good if I do say so myself.

I'm 41 and I think too much and blog too long sometime. I've "lost" a few readers...or they read and don't comment anymore. One said they didn't read blog that were too long....oops!

I'm 41 and I still "hate" to clean house. I have never liked to clean. Love to clean my classroom...hate to clean my house and it shows. Good think I married "Mr. Clean". We'd be in serious trouble.

I'm 41 and going to Weight Watchers...hmmmm...If I'd have done that at 32 I MIGHT be a size four by now. The consequences of procrastination.

I'm 41 and I still like "Girl's nites Out" just as much as I did when I was single. I need that once in a while....don't you?

I'll be 42 next month.........yikes! Well, the 40 of today is the 30 of yesterday , right??????

But I'm so blessed!
