I wish I had some exciting news for you...alas I don't . (Alas, hmmm, don't know where that word came from.!!)
Hey Patty...I understand I have a few "silent" readers too..but I don't think it's the same one you have!
I got up to start my day and ended up at school about 10:00 to do some laminating and then I met with a teacher for a while about some school related things. The boys and I ended up at Applebee's....great Weight Watcher Menu for me and they like the choices on the kids meal. They have a great french onion soup if that is your thing.
I thought I had a babysitter line up for about an hour, but turned out the young man may have walking pneumonia, so we didn't try that. His mom goes with me to Weight Watchers, so we weighed in and proceeded to the mtg. with my two kids in tow. I had a portable DVD for Sean and a puzzle book for Daniel. You do what you gotta do. They did pretty good actually. They got excited when the leader starting talking about Pals. Of course, what she was saying wasn't painting a pretty picture for us weight watchers gals. Trust me..Pal's "ain't" the place you want to frequent often if you want to lose weight. And for those of you who don't know what Pal's is....check this out.

For you tea drinkers they have a great peach tea and it's HUGE!
Oh, and I was up half a pound...go figure...the leader said half a pound was nothing in the summer. I told her I had upped my excersing by walking quite a bit last week and was well within my point. She gave me a speech about your body building muscle and it weighs something, but eventually you start losing again. The human body still amazes me....so I agreed to keep it up. Like Amanda says, "watch out" when you have a plateau.......maybe it will kick it again soon. ..the weight loss that is!
We are heading out the door for my Tuesday job and then home to clean a little. I go to the chiropractor tonight and tomorrow I get a Crown and a filling. Oh Joy.
I was thinking today about how busy my week and the rest of my summer is....reflecting on where I was 10 years ago and where I am today...trying to rest in the Lord's wisdom that he never never leads us where he does not go with us....his way is best.
Here is a verse I ran across this morning....I'm going to have and "Eddie" shouting fit I think....
Isaiah 48:17 This is what the Lord says-your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go."
It's Olympic week at little school. I'm off to make Gold Medals out of discontinued coffee cup lids from a Pop in Mart. Add a red string and there you have it...one preschool gold medal. The things I do.
Blessings!

A Half pound IS nothing! Heck, I figure I am up at least 20. ;-)
Got to be careful about those running and yelling spells, they can hurt sometime, especially when you get old like me. Great verse and great promise.
