Today was one of my workdays at my two day a week job. We had about 10....not many of them were interested in nap time today. Almost made me seasick watching them roll and tumble. We had music today and then after snack we had water day.
After work I stopped by the Christian school to work in my room. It's coming along, but I must have a sign that says "If you don't want it drop it here!". It's mostly stuff from teachers who haven't taught there in a while and the stuff was still there . My kids have been good sports. Sean just watches Veggie Tales and Daniel plays with the "CENTER"stuff in the room. My good friend Ann called while I was working. Ann and I taught in NC together for years. Good good memories! I had a packet of information to stuff for the parents and then mail out. I noticed my Principal states I had 12 years experience...since it won't affect my pay I won't mention that I actually have 13 years.....trust me..you count it all when you teach..you earn it!
My boys are tired and the whining has begun. I feel grateful we made it to 7:30 p.m. before the real meltdowns began!
My husband in the kitchen doing dishes. Have I ever told you how great he is about that kind of stuff? Whose complaining!? Is there some kind of "award" I can give him on this blogging stuff?
Hey Amanda, someone paid you a compliment today..said you looked great! Can't say who, but I thought you'd like to know!!!
Anyone ever heard of the now defunct theme park "The Land of Oz?" I remember going when I was a little girl . Bethanne said her husband did too! Who knew? I read that once a year they have an event...just no Hot Air Balloon rides ( it was like chair lifts of sorts). I think my kids would like to go to that...I'll have to do my homework. I don't know who these people are, but they have a home movie from the
70's of the Land of Oz! What a trip down memory lane......
I need to go see my mother. Looks like it will be after school starts. We saw her the beginning of summer. Where has the summer gone?
David is taking his last Microsoft exam in Knoxville on July 30th. When he passes that one he'll have his full Microsoft Certified IT Professional Certification. I'm impressed. Really , I am...those aren't easy tests!
Well, this teachers who has 13 years...did I tell you I had 13 years experience????.... is going to go relax. I hope tomorrow the weather holds tomorrow. We've been invited to swim....5 foot pool, but it works for me on a hot day.
I realized today that I needed to review these verses on waiting on the Lord....I'm a slow learner at times.....
Psalm 37:7 "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him...."
Psalm 62:1 "Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from Him cometh my salvation."
Psalm 15:5 "Lead me..., teach me...; on Thee do I wait all the day."
Micah 7:7 "Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me."
Isaiah 64:4 "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside Thee, what He hath prepared for Him that waiteth for Him."
Lamentations 3:25&26 "The LORD is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him.It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD."
Psalm 27:14 "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."

You said you wanted to give David an award for being so good about doing dishes, etc.
Why not the award that Beth has on her blog, the one that looks like a lamp someone's grandmother would have had in the '40's! Beth calls it the Artie Picante award. I call it the Ugly Lamp award.
I loved the Land of Oz!! I went to college with the scarecrow! Thanks for the YouTube -- I'm sending it on to my sister!
Hug your husband -- I'll pray for his test as I pray for Terry today.
