Over the Moon!

I got up this morning knowing I was going to take Daniel to a birthday party at Fun Expedition. ( Same place he had his party). I also woke up and decided last minute that I would go weigh in at Weight Watchers since my mtg. was not held Monday because of Labor Day. I almost didn't go and now I'm so glad I did! I had lost 4 1/2 more pounds and that put me at two more of my goals...one being my 25 pound mark! So I'm officially at 25.5 pounds!

Yeah!

Daniel isn't a pizza eater and that's what they have at the party. We passed his Daddy and brother heading out to Burger King, so he joined them for lunch. I'm hitting a yard sale I passed!

Keep praying for Angie Bundy. I have no new news to report.

My dear friend from NC e-mailed me this morning requesting prayer for herself. She found a significant lump in her breast Wed. and saw the doctor Thursday. Here is her e-mail to me:


Monday, Sept. 8 I'm having a biopsy--found a lump in my right breast (a woman's nightmare). I just discovered this on Wed. night--Sept. 3--called the doctor's office Thursday morning and saw 3 different doctors on Thursday. The doctor tried to draw out fluid and there was none--so it is a mass. I had a mammogram and also a sonogram. Some good signs--it's sore and movable, but that doesn't necessarily rule out cancer. I'll know before leaving the clinic. The mass is large for me not to notice it before now--it's over 1" across. It's in the 12 o'clock position if you think of your breast like being the face of a clock.

My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 AM--I'm the first patient scheduled for surgery that day. They will remove the entire lump, take it to pathology and freeze it so they can dissect it.

I'm trusting the Lord for strength and comfort. This is the verse I'm claiming: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand." Isaiah 41:10
