I've been missing in action from the blogging world for a while now. Life has been crazy and kids have been sick. Our latest victim in Daniel with Influenza B....hello spring, where are you?
Been thinking about the verse in scripture lately from Proverbs 31...."She open her mouth with wisdom, and in her tongue is the law of kindness". That's been something I've had to keep close to heart lately.
Today my children were stir crazy so I took them by Sonic for the Happy Hour Drinks...you know..the sodas and slushies that are half price. ( you don't have to get them out of the car either). We decided to take a ride to the airport campus where our school will be next year. It took me 28 minutes one way and 29 the next. I had to think on my "opens her mouth with wisdom verse. I'm a little spoiled this year with a literal 1 minute commute...a little over a mile to work. That will increase to 15 miles approx. Then I think instead of complaining I should be grateful for the job which I remind myself is really my ministry. ( provided when I get my post -interview letter is says "you are a winner"! You know.."you have a job!"......
I think I'll just try to find some great praise and worship Cd's.......you can do alot of worship in 30 minutes!

Hi LuAnn:
I just stopped by to say hello because I haven't "talked" to you in awhile. I noticed you have a recent post, but, it didn't show up on my blogger.
It sounds like you may have a job next school year, huh? I will pray that you get confirmation soon. I have no doubt you are an excellent teacher.
So sorry you have had sick children but glad you're back on the blogging circuit!!
And yes, during this time period we're going through, any job is a blessing!! I see lots of people coming in to the bank with unemployment checks now..it is so sad because it is not over yet!
Praise CDs would be great!
Have a blessed day!

Honestly long commutes are great for praise and worship!! I miss having time in my car with my music. Usually my hubs is with me and we don't "always" like the same music...but he compromises a lot!! It's not the same, though, as the freedom to sing to the top of your lungs (with or without children) because no one is there to look at you like you are wierd. That is, if you don't mind the occasional people in the other car wondering what in the world is going on with you. I just smile and keep right on singing!!
God bless...hang on...summer is right around the corner. Maybe we can keep that "girls night" we keep talking about!
Yep, love the driving time!
That sound like fast as compared to Atlanta traffic.
