Dalmatian, Under God!

Daniel is in K-5 now at the local Christian school. We are loving his experience. He's learned a Bible verse a week so far and had done well. On top of those verses, he had versed for AWANA at our church so we are having to practice quite a bit to get it all in. This week in AWANA one of the things he had to learn was the Pledge of Allegiance. I've noticed Daniel doesn't always hear what is exactly being said. One night we were watching his "train" movie and a verse of "She'll Be Coming Around the Mountain" was being sung. For a week he went around the house trying to sing " And we'll all go out and meet her when she comes" but his version was " And we'll all go out and Beat her when she come!" I argued that it was not the right choice of words to no avail. Wednesday before church I had the boys in the bathtub. I heard him practicing his pledge of allegiance and it went something like this " I Pwedge awegiance ( pledge allegiance ..you get the idea) to the fwag, ( flag) .........for which it stands , DALMATIANS under God.....etc etc. I said "No Daniel" and he said "uh huh mommy" "That's what they say"!!! Oh me ..I think I've got my work cut out for me this year.......
