Just thought that might catch your eye. I am going to VA today for my doctor's appt. Just a checkup. My doctor is from Lebanon and I taught his children at the Christian School in VA . I just never got a new doc so I make a pilgrimage an hour or so over the mountain to see him. I'm not worried about the trip, just those awful scales! Who ever thought of such a thing? I'm am impressed that Amanda B. is comfortable posting her weight loss ticker on her site. If I'd lost that much weight and looked like she did I'd post one too. But right now it's none of your business and if you knew how much I weighed I'd have to hurt you...and we don't want that! Really, hats off to Amanda!

Not sure you can read the wording on the cartoon but it says " I have metal fillings in my teeth. My refrigerator magnets keep pulling me into the kitchen. That's why I can't lose weight."
ha!
I woke up with a foot over my right shoulder and an elbow in my chest...when David got up to get ready for work BOTH kids hopped in my bed I guess. Sigh.....I love to snuggle but I get bruises with my two!

Life if great right now...no complaints...I got up thought feeling that today I needed to especially put on the "Whole Armor". I'm thankful for the Holy Spirit who lives in me and guides me. Aren't you?
Tomorrow is day two of the Mom's day out program for me and then tomorrow night I have a meeting to discuss the Beth Moore simulcast at our church. I grew up Independent Baptist and married a Southern Baptist. I never really knew much about Beth Moore but have grown to appreciate her materials. I've done two of her studies and part of another one on my own. I've also taken one by Priscilla Shirer, Dr. Tony Evans daughter. That was an awesome one. Something about a group of women studying together and sharing aloud that edifies.
I went to the Chiropractor last night. I have the BEST chiropractor. No, I don't thing EVERYONE should go, but I don't think it's quackery either. It has it's place and for me it's a good good thing. This chiropractor does therapy too and for me it's like spa treatment. For an hour I get to just "rest" while they so their thing and you wouldn't believe all that I accomplish in that hour in my thought processes.
We'll, sitting her not getting dressed won't change the fact that I must face the inevitable scales about 11:20! Look out world...when I am a size two ( like my assistant at school...ack! sorry, that wasn't Christ like at all!) I'm going to shout it to the world! Not sure that will make the headlines over gas prices and the presidential election though!!!
Blessings!

I love this, my hubby went to the doctors today and had to get on those scales, I asked if there was anything I cold hold for him and he just laughed and said to take off a few punds for his shoes, we laughed...
I pray that you are having a great week...

If it makes you feel any better...I've gained back up and don't have th courage to change my ticker...I keep telling myself that I will lose it again and if I change it...I have accepted it. I didn't bring my scale this week on vacation and I will be very AFRAID to weigh when I get home. I think I will actually wait another week...after I exercise and get back to eating healthy (no ice cream cone every night...boo hoo!) before I even check it. Be proud that you care enough about your health to face the scales...my mom is so afraid of weighing that she actually goes 5-10 years b/w MD visits...usually b/c she was pregnant was the only reason she would go. I've been on her lately about her mammogram. Anyway...just read my post today...we all have issues. I only put myself out there because it's too easy for me to hide and not be accountable...I've always been an open book...my mom said I never had a chance.
Thanks for the props and God Bless.
