"Come Again!"

Today was my lucky day...one filling and one temporary crown later I'm home with a throbbing gum. I usually do just fine when I'm in the chair at the dentist. For some reason this one is giving a little discomfort. But then again the filling and the crown were side by side.

I wasn't amused at the bill! I forked out $850.00 dollars for a crown and 20 percent of the cost of the filling. Gulp! What amused me was the receipt....The heading had the dental office logo on it, the amount, and then at the bottom a nicely printed "Thank You, Please Come Again!" . I can understand a customer wanting to come again to Olive Garden, or Home Depot, Kohl's or Dairy Queen, but the dentist office? Like do they really want you to get a cavity so you can "Come again?" I think it should read. "Thanks, Sorry you had to come at all!!" But, they didn't ask me!

I asked the girl if they had a "buy two crown, get one free policy" but she assured me they didn't. This is my third one! yikes!

Daniel has his 6th birthday on July 26th. I'm working on his little party...I've usually got it planned months in advance...no lie! But I can't get it together this year. He was born at 9:44 p.m in 2002 when I was 35 and I turned 36 two hours and fourteen minutes later. That was the best birthday gift ever! Of course I didn't feel like any cake so David got me a Milk Shake. It tasted sooooooooooo good. So what are we doing for his party? I have no clue! He still loves trains....so maybe Fun Expedition? It's got a train theme and run by christian folks from our church. We'll see where my energy or lack of takes me with these plans.

I was reading where Massachusetts had voted in the first vote to overturn a 1913 law that prohibits same sex marriage from out of state people. God help us.

We have a little garden out back.....funny little garden..it's all in laundry detergent and cat litter containers. We have alot of shale rock...so we'd have to bring it alot of dirt to have a really nice garden. I see one squash almost ready to be brought in...mmmm. I love fresh veggies.

One more week of the two day a week program I do in the summer. We have lot of dental appts. still and other misc appointments to get in before school starts.

I was doing a little reading online and I thought of a friend right now that is having some struggles with I'm not really sure what. I could use this too:

"So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."I Corinthians 10:12-13

Amen and Amen!

I can honestly say that I have never known anyone who grew a garden in kitty litter containers - interesting. I do love me some home grown veggies....we grew a garden until Kaden was a baby and the picker (me) couldnt keep up with 2 kids and a huge garden. Maybe next year.......

Now, I like this color combo. It is different than the one this morning, right? Maybe different color letters on the verbage against that background.

Boy, us Northerners sure are picky, ain't we?
