The first Day of Kindergarten went well...only had one "real" crier..same little girl..and she came around. I had a grandmother and her daughter slip up to the outside window to peek in...liked to scare me to death..that's a first! I have some photos I'll post tomorrow. Daniel seemed to really enjoy his first day of first grade. I'm glad it went well.
I weighed in tonight and am down another pound. I'll take it. One more and I'm at my 20 pound mark. Someone went on and on about the 12.00 I spend every week..and that it was too much...maybe, but you know we spend our dollars in all kinds of places, and I figure if I add up the 3.00 here at McDonald's ( pre boycott Bethanne! ha!) and 3.00 here for and ice cream....you'd be surprised what we spend in a month. Anyway I call it the glass half empty syndrome..and I prefer to think of it as a "good investment". All I know is that when I go and pay I get motivated to lose. I'd say it's money well spent.
I listened in class as my little Riley prayed for us today in class. No fancy words, so pure and sincere. "A little child shall lead them". How humbling.

That's awesome. I've been worse than ever this summer....fried okra, fried squash etc. etc.
I do eat my oatmeal every morning. ;)
I don't think $12 is very much and like you said buying cokes and burgers etc. add up.

Glad class went well. $12 sounds like a bargain to me - I see all kinds of adds for $50 per week programs on TV. Most people spend more than $12 per week at Starbucks!!! Dont listen to the naysayers....listen to ME!!! Keep it up and dont quit! you are doing great and I can see such a difference already. Last night you looked like you had lost more than 19 lbs!!!! And you know I wouldnt say it if it werent true.

Glad you had a good first day back. My hubby goes back the 18th. This is actually the first summer I'll be sad to see him go back to work. He teaches Resource so he goes around with kids to their classes...they're working on inclusion. Anyway, I hope all teachers have a good year this year.
