I so needed to sleep in. It felt good. This morning our family went to Golden Corral for breakfast. David and I had been earning stamps on a card each time we would go there. It only took us like two years to fill the card up, but today we redeemed our cards for free breakfasts. I think I did pretty well staying on track. They have the salad bar out already so I loaded up on that, fresh fruit, etc. and then added a few goodies. We visited the farmers market for a watermelon, some fresh corn on the cob, some romaine lettuce and an eggplant. I found a recipe for Weight Watchers Egg Plant Parmesan that looks good and easy and its only 3 points a serving! I'll let you know how it turns out.
I ventured out to get a pair of grey dress slacks and ended up in the teacher supply store for some misc. items. That is one place you don't want to be this time of year...teachers are swarming that place and it's a mad house! I was glad to get out with my small purchase. I'm starting to get excited again. I remember when I first started teaching back in January of 1989...I had fourth graders...I'll have to post a pic I have of me and the kids then....I so don't look the same....................
If I can lost 2 more pounds I'll be at the 20 pounds mark! I get a start to add to my 10 pounds weight loss bookmark.
I got the sweetest e-mail from a good friend (she knows who she is) that gave me a list of things she was praying for me for. It had been a good but challenging week and that was so timely. I really love the body of Christ and how we can be an encouragement to others if we only take the time to think outside of ourselves...so thanks again, friend!
Daniel and I went outside to play with his "stomp rocket" he got for his birthday. It's the coolest gadget if you have a big yard to play in...you run and jump on the "air pouch" ( or whatever you call it) and it send a foam rocket like 150 feet. We sent one over the fence and sent dad after it!
It's relatively a cheap toy for around $12.00 and we have a ball with it...or should I say a "blast" since it's more like a rocket?

We have an air rocket thing too ---- it amazes me everytime it goes that high in the air, but it really doesnt take much to amaze me......

Yep...a size down. I bought a pair a few weeks ago and I already have to roll the waist....alas, I still have a long way to go...but it is nice to see progress.
